Description

MILBURN, Circuit Judge. Petitioner Jerry Dunn, a Kentucky prisoner, appeals the district courts judgment denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. On appeal, the issues are (1) whether the district court erred in finding that petitioner was not denied the effective assistance of counsel under the Sixth and Fourteenth Amendments, due to the numerous errors of his trial counsel; and (2) whether the district court erred in finding that the allegedly inflammatory remarks made by the prosecutor during his closing argument did not deprive petitioner of his right to due process of law under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
